In most places in the world, it is way too cold to be wearing clothing like this, but here in Hawaii where winter doesn’t exist I can still wear crop tops and no sleeves. I absolutely love wearing leggings they are simply the most comfortable clothing option when you have a busy day ahead of you. And of course what better to pair with leggings than a cute crop top.
As you can see, my makeup is simple but I darkened my eyebrows a little more than usual and my eyeshadow is mostly bronzes and browns to stick with the colder weather theme. I grabbed some big pearl earrings that are golden although they don’t really look too golden in the picture. I pretty much only stick to gold jewelry since I think gold brings out my hair and eye color.
I wanted to leave my look simple so I just went with black converse and a muted red and blue flannel. The flannel jacket that I have around my waist is actually amazing because it has a really warm lining so it’s more of a heavier layer than I’m used to, but I figured all of you with colder climates would appreciate a layer of warm clothing. I think it’s so important to use layers when it starts to get colder since you never know what the temperature will be like in the classroom you’re in there might be heating so it’s important to be able to take off and put on layers to keep you at the most comfortable temperature.
And sticking with that cozy fall theme, I threw on a beanie. You can obviously wear any color beanie you want to but this grey one matched my shirt and I wanted my only pop of color to be the flannel for some reason.
Overall this outfit is super simple and comfy for when you have a busy day but want to stay comfortable. Throwing a flannel over a pretty monochrome outfit always will brighten up your day without losing that timeless autumn feel. Don’t forget to smile, you look great!
