The day was beautiful, the sun was shining, the beach was calling…

So we went! Wearing my personal favorite type of shorts, the soft and loose ones that look like pajamas but are actually completely socially acceptable to wear in public.

Sophia’s top is breezy and light with the addition of the almost seashell-like pattern of cutouts on the back. The pattern makes it perfect for beach wear as a cover up or just while out having fun.

Jewelry at the beach is a little complicated but Sophia never leaves home without her favorite rings and her moon and star earrings and studs.

Whether you got your beachy waves from the actual salt water or just from good old genetics you can rock a ‘free the hair’ sense of style. This look gives you tons of personality, from the boldness of the pattern on the shorts to the cutouts in the top.

Of course we normally just wear flip-flops (or as they call them in Hawaii, slippers) but at the beach, bare feet are the way to go. Of course it’s a great way to show off that new mani-pedi you just got, but we won’t talk about her nail polish in this particular photo… *insert laughing emoji with tears here*

Also, when at the beach please don’t lose your balance! Wouldn’t want to fall into the water and ruin your gorgeous outfit.

These shorts are absolutely perfect for summer and are a great investment for wearing inside and outside the house. Also, don’t forget your favorite summertime smoothie which will definitely complete the look.
