If you are anything like me, then the thought of waking up early just made you shudder. Since the school year is starting soon and 6 AM alarms are a real thing, I thought I would show you one of my favorite clothing hacks for those mornings when all you can think about is getting your butt out the door.
Grab your comfiest pair of shorts, a cute sweater, spice it up with some metallic sandals and your favorite go-to jewelry and you’re all set. The shorts and light sweater will keep you cool in the hot autumn months and will keep you comfortable when you have to sit in classrooms or offices all day.
My go-to jewelry when I’m in a rush consists of a simple gold Kate Spade necklace, the first bracelet I see, and of course my toe ring. The summer months are perfect for showing off cool new jewelry like a toe ring especially since you’re always in sandals.
Whenever I’m in a rush I love to throw my hair into a cute braid. It helps keep my hair out of my face while I’m in class trying to focus. This particular braid took about two minutes but looks really well styled. Here’s a tip: if you’re trying to get a little texture into your braid just spray on some dry shampoo, let it sit for a minute, then separate the braid to make it look more tousled.
Whenever an outfit needs a little class I always rush to these beautiful gold sandals. The knotted look reminds me of all things nautical which is a vibe I also get from the light cotton shorts I’m wearing. The gold metallic finish adds a little bit of shiny to your outfit which can never be a bad thing.
I know school’s almost back in session but don’t forget to smile. You look great!
